It is known with certainty that this card was sent after 1880. It was during this same year that the State bought his sculpture L’Âge d’airain and granted him a studio at the Dépôt des marbres at n° 182, rue de l’Université, in the 7th arrondissement of Paris, a place of work that he would keep for the rest of his life.
