Fine revolutionary-era document signed by Louis XVI
Louis XVI co-signed on the first page a decree on the conduct of the administrators of the département of the Gard and their regular troops, to “ensure public tranquility.”
The document is countersigned by Adrien Duport, then President of the National Assembly, by the revolutionary Jean-Henri Voulland (secretary to Duport since 14 February), and by Pierre Boussion.
