In 1855, Gautier left the editorial staff of the newspaper La Presse and joined the Moniteur Universel. A critic of art and entertainment, the author provides numerous articles on painting and cultural life every month, as well as his works in preview.
Arsène Houssaye (28 March 1814, Bruyères-et-Montbérault – 26 February 1896, Paris) was a French writer. He is also known as Alfred Mousse
