Cleopatra is a tragedy in verse by Mme de Girardin, first performed at the Théâtre-Français on November 13, 1847.
Delphine Gay (24 January 1804, Aachen – 29 June 1855, Paris) was a French writer, poet, short story writer, novelist, playwright, salonnière and journalist. She exerted a considerable personal influence in contemporary literary society and in her salon regularly frequented, among others, by Théophile Gautier, Honoré de Balzac, Alfred de Musset, Victor Hugo etc.
