Paul Meurice (1818-1905) was a French novelist and journalist. He was one of Victor Hugo’s clostest friends and editor in chief of the newspaper Le Rappel. In 1902, Paul Maurice founded the Maison de Victor Hugo, Place des Vosges in Paris.
Georges Clemenceau and Paul Meurice remained friends until until the passing of Meurice in 1905.
