Elegant portrait of the philosopher, seated with a serene gaze

The philosopher is represented by three-quarters, his gaze to the right. The head a little bald and the hair graying. His serene gaze and cross-legged legs are enough to make his presence intense.

Henri Bergson is best known for his philosophical works Matter and Memory and Creative Evolution.
He won the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1927
