Victor Considérant is a philosopher and polytechnician economist, adept of furierism, he was the main popularizer. It then helps to give a moderate interpretation of Fourier’s doctrines, striving to exclude or hide the most controversial parts of them, such as those on sexual freedom or the suppression of the family, and to derive practical reforms such as the right to work and suffrage for men and women.
