Journalist and writer, Albert Londres gave his name to the prize awarded each year in France a quality report that remains a reference for investigative journalism. He is also considered one of the most famous commentators of the Tour de France.
Through his many journalistic missions, Albert Londres wrote a large number of postcards to his daughter Florise [1904-1975] from various parts of the world. Many of these cards are now held by institutions.
