Édith Piaf fills in her data sheet on the eve of her first performance at the Olympia in 1956


The singer, who was in a relationship with Jacques Pills (aka Roger Ducos) and with whom she divorced the same year, also gave her maiden name: Gassion.
This was her second series of performances in the Olympia Hall, which was to last three weeks, beginning on May 24, 1956. Piaf played a major role in forging the myth of the famous theater in the 1950s.

67 Boulevard Lannes was her last residence. She lived there from 1953 until her death ten years later.
