Queneau responds to a request for Alfred Jarry manuscripts

“Cher Monsieur
Queneau”

Michel Arrivé (1936-2017) is recognized as the principal specialist of Alfred Jarry, of whom he has published twenty books and more than three hundred articles. He conducted extensive research on Jarry’s original manuscripts with the Parisian literary community throughout the 1960s. It was under his direction that the writer’s works were published in the Library of the Pleiade.
