La Putain Respectueuse is a one-act play by Jean-Paul Sartre published in 1947 (Nagel Editions) and performed for the first time on November 8, 1848 at the Théâtre Antoine. The story is inspired by that of the Scottsboro boys.
The story was also adapted for film in 1952 on a film directed by Charles Brabant and Marcello Pagliero.
